The Flying Corkscrew is excited to present a tour experience that is completely unique to Melbourne,

Combining two helicopter flights, behind the scenes tastings in two hidden gems of the Yarra Valley, and a 5 course degustation at your choice of two award winning restaurants, this is an extraordinary day.

Oakridge Helicopter Degustation

9.30am.  Be picked up from your accommodation anywhere in Melbourne city (or inner suburbs) and be chauffeur driven to Morrabbin Airport.

10am   Spectacular 25 minute helicopter flight that touches down at Oakridge.  You will be greeted with sparkling wine, shown the grounds and then be transferred by car to Seville Estate.

11 First tasting at Seville Estate.  Seville has just been voted “2019 winery of the year” by Halliday Wine Companion and the Flying Corkscrew are proud to include it in this itinerary.  Head winemaker Dylan McMahon is the grandson of Peter McMahon who planted the first vines back in 1972.

12.15  Second tasting at Pimpernel Estate.  Pimpernel makes very small quantities of highly awarded wine (you can’t buy this wine in any bottle shops)   If it’s picking, pruning, or producing, every element of the wine making process is done by hand.

1.15 – 3.15  5 course degustation with matching wine at Oakridge Estate.

3.30 – 4  Flown home by helicopter.

About your lunch destination:

They do things  a bit differently at Oakridge Estate – when you eat here, there is every chance that the vegetables on your plate have been picked from their own garden.  Head chefs Matt Stone and Jo Barrett are award winning in their own right and the restaurant was just voted the 26th best in the 2019 Good Food Guide.

This 5 course degustation with matching wine features innovative and seasonal dishes from local producers and their own garden.
